Alright is a song from the 90s by supergrass who are a Britpop/indie music group. I will be analyzing their music video as I have chosen a similar type of song to a film a music video for. I will be overlooking this music video and try to replicate a similar type of aesthetic throughout my own music video.

For starters the group supergrass are the ones who preform in the music video, they all are wearing colorful t-shirts which have their nicknames written across. I think this adds to the "cool" aesthetic/mood that the group have tried to prolong throughout their music video. This is important as when this song was released, it was the start of "cool Britannia" which was a swift change from the perhaps more formal sort of music and behavior which British media would've consisted of prior to the 90s. The music video is also mostly shot using a fish eye lens, with not one shot exceeding a long period of time- the music video is quite fast paced throughout. Again, this adds to the edgy aesthetic of the music video, as does the spontaneous and weird props/locations, such as a bed or sofa on the beach. The lyrics say - we are strange- which explains the behavior seen in the music video, quirky and semi-strange acts preformed by the musicians.
Due to the time of release, the music video is quite repetitive as the film crew probably did not have the facilities to be able change the location, props and film equipment a frequently.
